I’ve been drawn to character-driven stories since a young age, fascinated by the duality of our ubiquitous yet unique lives. I revel in that space where two things can be true– our sameness and our differences, our goodness, our evils. Documentary film is a playground in which to explore those nuances, to climb inside of other people’s lives and expand awareness, reverence, and gratitude; to turn tenderness into a salve for a better world.
Currently based in Portland, Oregon, I am a full-time freelance video editor. When I’m not at my keyboard, I can be found biking to the river, writing poetry in tiny notebooks, or crafting with friends.
